CAMP 2010:

ANSWER Partnering with Friendship Ventures there are 3 specific camps for Asperger's Syndrome.

These sessions are designed for children and young adults with Asperger's Syndrome. This structured program will focus on social skills learning and practicing, such as join activities, trying something new, sharing and taking turns while participating in traditional camp activities. Social skills are geared to the appropriate age group.

Day camp at Eden Wood is a great introduction to the camp experience. Campers arrive each morning at 8am and leave between 5:30 -6pm each day. Campers spend part of the day at camp Eden Wood and part of the day enjoying day trips to community activities. Campers have the option to stay at camp one night during the week as a part of becoming more independent.  

Resident  Camp introduces sharing in group living. The 13-15 year old's enjoy traditional camp activities including an overnight camp out. The older teen and young adults will enjoy traditional activities and be involved in The Youth Leadership Learning Program and camping out at a local State Park for part of the week.

Asperger's camp is a cooperative program of Friendship Ventures and ANSWER(Asperger's Network Support).
