ANSWER Program Mission Statement:

Transition for Life, a way to succeed on the Autism Spectrum.

Curriculum Statement:

The Goal of 'Transition for Life' young adult program is to equip enrollees/students on the Autism Spectrum ages 12-21 with skills to attain independence. The students will be taught to achieve working knowledge of skills relating to: employment, health, dating, money management and practical living skills.

Implementation of these skills will be practiced bi-weekly in a classroom setting as well as in real life situations.

The program will take place in 3-eight week segments, each session building upon the skills learned in prior sessions.

Through this curriculum we intend to provide students with the skills needed to ultimately transition into a semi or independent living situation, acquire higher education and / or gain employment.
