Transition for Life, a way to succeed on the Autism Spectrum.
Curriculum Statement:
The Goal of 'Transition for Life' young adult program is to equip enrollees/students on the Autism Spectrum ages 12-21 with skills to attain independence. The students will be taught to achieve working knowledge of skills relating to: employment, health, dating, money management and practical living skills.
Implementation of these skills will be practiced bi-weekly in a classroom setting as well as in real life situations.
The program will take place in 3-eight week segments, each session building upon the skills learned in prior sessions.
Through this curriculum we intend to provide students with the skills needed to ultimately transition into a semi or independent living situation, acquire higher education and / or gain employment.

Session 1: Social Skills -Middle School Ages 12-15
September 22-November 19 Wednesdays & Fridays
$600.00 + weekly outing fees.
If you have a child or Student between the ages of 12 -21 who is interested in learning about furthering there goals after High School by employment or Post secondary options. That would be willing to attend a Transition program to help meet those needs.
